Sadhana Sangeet Sanstha,

Was formed by “ Suchitra Acharya”
She had her initiation in music from her childhood from her father Shri Pradeep Chandra Acharya.A ‘B’ grade artist in light vocal music in A.I.R., New Delhi. Gradually she moved to learn Classical music from Maharshi Gandharv Mahavidyalaya, Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and from Ms. Neelam Sahani. Presently she is in Delhi and learning Classical Vocal from renowned vocalist Guru Pt. Bholanath Mishra from Banaras Gharana for advancement.
Currently she is performing Indian Classical Music, and composing bhajans, geets. She has more than 12 years of experience in teaching music. She has done her Visharad from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and 3rd year from Ghandharva Mahavidyalaya in Hindustani Classical Vocal music.
She has performed Bhajan in Germany, Spain, Austria and London on behalf of ICCR. Has passed Audition test in light vocal music from A.I.R., New Delhi and has been awarded ‘B’ grade.Has been awarded certificates in the Integrated Training Programme organized by Bal Bhawan Society, India in 1996.

“ Achievements”

• In Oct’05 attended a classical program organized by ICCR, as an accompanying artist and also performed bhajans (solo) in Spain, Germany, Austria, U.K. With the group.


• She has conducted various musical programs at India Habitat Centre, ISCKON auditorium, Scope Complex, Tamil Sangam as well as in various Electronic media (DD and A.I.R).


• She has shown an outstanding performance at Kamani Auditorium by students of Sadhna Sangeet Sanstha, which was sponsored by ICCR.


• She has been awarded certificates in the Integrated Training Program organized by Bal Bhawan Society, India in 1996.


• Has passed Audition test in light vocal music from A.I.R., New Delhi and has been awarded ‘B’ grade.
